What are the senses?

Antes de centrarnos en el gran repaso general haz click en el vídeo para recordar el nombre de los sentidos en Inglés. Después no te olvides de echar un vistazo a lo siguiente y ¡mucha suerte!! seguro que mañana saldrá genial!!!

THE SIGHT

We use our eyes to see. They are the organs of sight. Some parts are for vision. Other  parts are for protection.

•         We use the eye ball, the pupil, the iris, the lens and the retina to see.

•        The eyelids, the eyelashes and the eyebrows protect our eyes.

HEARING

We use our ears to hear. We can hear different sounds. The ears are the organs of hearing.

There are to parts: 

•       We can se the outer parts: ears.

• The inner parts are inside our head.: ear canal, timpanic membrane, small bones, cochlea, cochlear nerve.

Smell

 

 We use our nose to smell . The nose is the organ of smell.  We use the nose to breathe and to smell.

Taste

The sense of the taste is in our tongue. We use the tongue to taste food and drink. There are four flavours: Sweet, salty, sour and bitter.

Touch

The sense of touch is in our skin. We touch with our hands. We can feel cold, heat and pain.

Five senses

Congratulations kids!!! you all passed the test for the first topic!!! so... now here we go for the second lesson... The senses, let's go through and we will learn lots of new things about our body.
