Weather and climate I

Good morning everyone! What's the weather like today?
Let's review about atmospheric weather, and climate. Here there are some interesting videos and activities on weather (seasons, temperature, precipitations, wind, meterology, metereologist, weather forecast...) and climate.
Please watch all the videos and complete the activities, this is very important for the next test.

I hope you like it :)

Photosynthesis

Hello!!
Do you remember what the photosynthesis is??
Plants have to make their food.
They take water and minerals from the soil and their leaves take the Carbon dioxide and the sunlight. With the water, minerals, Carbon dioxide and sunlight, they make the PHOTOSYNTHESIS in their leaves. They expel Oxygen, the waste products.

Now, you can watch this video about the plant nutrition.

This is a beatiful drawing, you can print and colour it.

The Reproductive System

So... this is what we have learnt today. I took this image from the Encyclopoedia Britannica. Try to remmember the different parts.

Now you can watch Érase una vez el cuerpo humano: El nacimiento.

 ELIMINATING WASTE

Here you have a comic to review the topic we learnt on Science, Eliminating waste. Remember we can eliminate waste by the Respiratory system ( Carbon dioxide), The Digestive system, the Excretory System ( Urine) and Skin ( Sweat)

Simple and Compound machines

Today we learn about simple and compound machines.

Remember:

Machines help us and make life easy.

Simple machines have few parts and do their job in one step only.
Simple Machines are the Wheel and Axle, Lever, Pulley, Inclined Plane, Screw, and Wedge.

Compound machines have a lot of parts and are made up of more than one simple machine. They do their job in various steps.

Now look at the images, learn the names and play the game.

What do you do?

Children, listen and repeat the words. The words are jobs.
What do you do? I'm a teacher, and you?
What does your father do?
What does your mother do?
Ask your family ;)

 Now play a game.
